APWU Local 451 Meeting - Saturday, October 19th, 2019
There were 16 members present. The meeting was called to order at 11:32 a.m. after we had a guest speaker. Motion by Bill H. and second by Wendy S. to accept the minutes as posted. Motion passed. Motion by Jody A. and second by Max W. to accept the Treasurer's Report as given. Motion passed.
Officer's Report: Steve Adsit is now the Tour 3 Steward. It is possible to set up an Iowa Democratic Satellite Caucus so Tour 3 & Tour 1 employees can participate. Application is due November 19th. The caucus would last at least 1 hour. Make sure you give all the pertinent information when you leave notes for the stewards. 1767s are Safety forms, not forms for the Stewards. The priority lighting has been restored to what it used to be. Penalty exclusion period is November 30th to December 27th.

Old Business: We voted to send someone to the Healthcare Plan Conference, but didn't move forward with it. Bob D. moves to rescind the vote to send someone to the Healthcare Plan Conference. Bill H. seconds. Motion passed.
New Business: Salvation Army bell ringing will be December 7th. If you fill equipment in priority, then move it to the staging area for the mailhandlers to pick up. The mailhandlers are not to get equipment out of priority until priority is done.
